Description

World's Columbian Exposition: Oriental Odeon Ticket. One of the rarest tickets. This is the only one we personally have seen, although we have seen a reference to another. Ticket measures 6" x 2.75". It is orange and mostly in Turkish script. It is a two-parter, with a perforation, which is solid and not broken. The top edge is torn jagged, but it only touches a slight part of the upper border that surrounds the writing. In English it reads "The Oriental Odeon of the Ottoman Section in The Columbian World's Fair 1893 Admission: 50 Cents." Doolin #99. From the collection of Norm Bolotin.
