    World's Columbian Exposition: Large Archive of Transportation and Lodging Tickets and Brochures. A very rich lot of transportation and lodging tickets outstanding for display and research. Eighteen total items.
    -Camp Lincoln for Civil War Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) vets, old soldiers and their families! This was an entire tent city where GAR families could live and meet during the fair and also during the GAR reunion. A complete brochure, reservation forms, inside and outside envelopes. All located just 5 minutes' walk from the grounds, to the south.-4 total pieces. From Cook & Co. Fabulous for the Civil War and Columbian collectors.
    -World's Fair Encampment and Hotel Fraternity, Chicago Chamber of Commerce, an entire publication detailing the information one would need to book special lodging for the fair. Twelve pages of information.
    -World's Fair House and Boarding Bureau, 12 pages of detail.
    -Lockwood and Wright's Locating Bureau, World's Fair Headquarters, accommodations for visitors, eight pages with city map on how to travel to and from the fairgrounds and where to obtain lodging.
    -Silver and blue ornate letterhead form the World's Fair Hotel & Boarding Bureau, a letter detailing information of L.M. Cowles who wrote in July for information on lodging, including the original envelope with photo of the grounds.
    -Souvenir and Visitors' Guide compliments of Aultman, Miller & Co., photos, railway guide, terminals, etc.
    -Rare ticket or chit for a meal at a bed and breakfast near the grounds, Tattered (from having been wet) ticket found in a guide to the fair. Reads "Good for one Meal, Ashland House. K/ D/ Gray Proprietor." Black ink, very displayable and very rare; the only chit for meals we have seen for the entire fair, let alone just lodging/bed and breakfasts.
    -Columbian Visitors' Association brochure, "The South Shore" at the corner of Bond Avenue and Seventy-Third Street, ten minutes easy walk to the Exposition. Prohibition district, no drinking, quiet, large hotel in an undeveloped area south of the city; heavy creases from long ago being folded in thirds. Four pages full of information and photos.
    -Pocket guide with information on railways and local transportation and fold-out photos. Back shows glue residue; back cover splitting. Pocket size.
    -Admit One ribbon ticket, Retail Clerks/August 29 (the ribbon to be worn and thus used for admission rather than issuance of a ticket)
    -First Class Rooms, Hyde Park, walk to the fair. Brochure.
    -For rent, newly furnished rooms with board, just 5 blocks from the south entrance. Brochure.
    -July 27, 1893 ticket from a pass book
    -Admit One to Jackson Park WCE Expo for before opening, prior to 7/18/92
    -Red return pass perforated for date 18th.
