World's Columbian Exposition: Three Connected Ice Railway Concession Tickets. Three connected tickets for concession number 61. We have a single ticket in a separate lot, but this is a very unusual strip of three unused tickets as dispensed. Because of finding other connected tickets, we can tell that in 1893, such tickets were done much as they are today in machine-dispensed strips of 10. Usually these tickets were fan-folded and loaded into machines at the ticket booths literally hundreds or even thousands at a time. They are very popular among collectors and rare in this form. Ice Railway tickets 462230, 462231, and 462232. Mint condition, as they are still connected. Top left corner of the top ticket has a light crease not visible on the front. From the collection of Norm Bolotin.
