World's Columbian Exposition: Six German Village Tickets. Lot includes six tickets from Concession 7, the German Village, as follows: yellow, joined pair, 5 cents, Nos. 871256 and 871257. Doolin No. 108 but listed on blue paper; blue, single ticket, 10 cents, No. 333627. Doolin No. 109; orange, single ticket, 25 cents, overprinted number 9574 over 907707. Overprints such as this occur in various WCE tickets and are generally thought to be from late in the fair when vendors ran out of tickets and stamped the numbers in black over the imprinted red already used. The overprints are much more scarce and thus in greater demand. Doolin No. 100; gray-green, single ticket, 50 cents, overprint 9574 (Identical to the 25 cent example, for which there is no explanation!) over original red number 38825. Doolin No. 111; red, one dollar ticket; orange ink on white, German Village Concert Garden, 25 cents, No. 181856. Doolin No. 56. From the collection of Norm Bolotin.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
