DescriptionWorld's Columbian Exposition: Pair of Rare and Very Desirable Music Tickets, including:
Rare ticket for the performance of the New York Symphony at the Festival Hall on the grounds. Stub only from a scrapbook. The stub was clipped out of the scrapbook, so there is a portion of the page and the ticket stub. Someone has labeled it "NY Symphony Orchestra" in ink. Reads "Parquet - Left, 9, May 20th, Retain This Check, No. 206."
Ticket for Mass Rehearsal of the World's Fair Chorus in The Auditorium. Measures 1.5" x 2.5" on off-white paper. No stub other than date at perforation (not removed) "Wed'sday Oct 5." Rehearsing for the very famous and elaborate grand finale event of the fair. Rare. From the collection of Norm Bolotin.
