    A collection of 5 different souvenir hatchets from the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair.  1) A 6" long milk glass and "Souvenir St. Louis" with substantial gold paint wear.  Fair cond.  2)  Beautiful 6" long inlaid mother of pearl on front over wood axe shaped thermometer with "World's Fair-St. Louis-1904."  There is a 1/2"X1/8" piece missing from the blade.  O/W, very fine cond.  3)  6-1/2" long ruby glass axe with, on the blade, "Try Medler's Hand Rolled Chocolates."  Fine cond.  4) 8-1/2" clear glass with embossed George Washington bust and "The Father of His Country" rev. "World's Fair 1904."  VF.  5) 10" clear glass with, on the handle "St. Louis World's Fair" and on the blade "1803-Emblem of Peace & Prosperity 1904" on the blade.

    This lot also has 13 different aluminum souvenirs from the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair.  Included are 3 sets of salt & pepper shakers - 3-1/4" high-one set with a shield and St. Louis 1094, a fleur de lis design with St. Louis 1904 and simply World's Fair 1904.  Also, a 4-1/2" high SLWF-1904 shaker, two 2" high cups-one with shield and one with a flag and four 2-3/4" high cups-one with a shield.  These all are in fine to VF cond. Please note: Due to the size and/or weight of this lot, additional shipping costs may apply.
