    Description

    Columbian Exposition or Chicago's World's Fair of 1893: Tri-Color Gold Commissioner's Badge. 1.25" x 2.5" [overall] badge composed of several components. A hanger at top is engraved "Illinois". Beneath that is a shield with blue enamel reading "1893". This is attached via a post to the "drop", a gold disc within a retainer ring, the front of which has the State Seal of Illinois on a grid of the globe. The reverse is engraved "Board Worlds Fair Commissioner 12th Dist. W. H. Fulkerson Jerseyville, Ill." Great condition. An outstanding Fair & Exposition collectible!
