    Description

CHINA CLOCK U.S. GOVERNMENT BUILDING 1904 ST. LOUIS WORLD'S FAIR. Beautifully multi-colored china clock 7-3/4" high with the "United States Government Building - Souvenir St. Louis 1904" on the front.  On the left side is pictured the "Palace of Electricity-Souvenir of  St. Louis 1904" while on the right side is "Palace of Arts-Souvenir St. Louis 1904."  Also on the side and top are florals.  The paper front of the the clock face has staining from 4:00-8:00.   [See Hendershott 10-80.]  Sensational souvenir from the fair that, at the time, was probably very expensive.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
