Garth Williams, illustrator. Two Original Preliminary Pencil Sketches for Proposed Front Covers of Beneath a Blue Umbrella. Not signed or initialed by Williams, but each has an inventory number in pencil on the verso. Heavy weight drawing paper. The larger measures 23 x 13.5 inches; the smaller measures 17.5 x 11.5 inches. Minor paper abrasions at the corners of the smaller example.
