    Tricia Nixon and Julia Nixon Eisenhower Typed Letter Dated July 23, 1970, Signed on White House Stationery to Neil Armstrong Thanking Him for Accompanying Prince Charles and Princess Anne on Their Tour, Directly From The Armstrong Family Collection™, Certified and Encapsulated by Collectibles Authentication Guaranty. A one-page letter on White House letterhead dated July 23, 1970, to Armstrong during the short period when he was Deputy Associate Administrator for Aeronautics at NASA in Washington, D.C. It reads as follows:

    "Dear Mr. Armstrong,

    "We are sure that one of the highlights of the visit of The Prince Charles and Princess Anne was meeting with our famous Astronauts! It was most generous and kind of you to personally escort us on a tour of the space exhibits and your presence contributed so much to the interest and enjoyment of the visit.

    "With our deep appreciation and all best wishes,

    "Sincerely,
    [signed] Tricia Nixon
    [signed] Julie Nixon Eisenhower"

    A great letter from President Nixon's daughters mentioning British Royalty. Horizontal flattened fold, otherwise excellent. Sealed in a numbered archival sleeve. This lot will include a Statement of Provenance signed by Neil Armstrong's sons, Rick and Mark.
