Stan Stokes Original Art: "A Not So Routine Service Call", Framed. An absolutely stunning painting of the Space Shuttle Endeavour (STS-61) in December 1993 as it brings the Hubble Space Telescope into the cargo bay for a round of major repairs and installation of corrective optics. A mission that NASA declared a complete success. This painting has been reproduced in both litho and giclée prints, all much smaller than this mammoth 35.5" x 23.5" (sight size) original stretched canvas, framed to an overall 40.5" x 28.5". Signed "Stokes" at lower front right and "--Stan Stokes 1999/ © All Reproduction Rights Reserved-" on the back of the canvas. Excellent. From THE IRI COLLECTION.

We had a wonderful time in New York during the October 2013 Historical Manuscripts auction that featured my mother’s papers collected during her tenure as Martin Luther King, Jr.’s secretary. In fact, the entire experience from beginning to end has been a pleasure.
