    Description

University of Cincinnati: Overhead Projector Slides (Nine) for Armstrong's Lecture on PLSS (Portable Life Support Systems) Directly From The Armstrong Family Collection™, Each Page Certified and Encapsulated by Collectibles Authentication Guaranty. All are transparent 8.5" x 10.5", three-hole punched sheets made from his original drawings (see adjacent lot) to be used in accompaniment to his verbal lecture on the subject. Extracted from a binder labeled "PLSS Lecture" on the spine. Your writer is old enough to remember the pre-Power Point days when professors used the overhead projector instead of the blackboard. Maybe one of our bidders took the class where Armstrong used these slides; what a great souvenir that would be for them. Very fine. Sealed in numbered archival sleeves. This lot will include Statements of Provenance signed by Neil Armstrong's sons, Rick and Mark.

We had a wonderful time in New York during the October 2013 Historical Manuscripts auction that featured my mother’s papers collected during her tenure as Martin Luther King, Jr.’s secretary. In fact, the entire experience from beginning to end has been a pleasure.
