Space Shuttle IBM/Cross CrossPad Electronic Notepad, Complete with Pen, Accessories, and NASA Tagging, Possibly Flown. A short-lived product introduced in 1997 and discontinued in 2001. A 9.5" x 13" x 0.75" electronic tablet with a pen and legal pad attached. The pen transmitted a radio signal which told the pad where you were writing; the pen also contained ink to provide visible feedback to the writer. There are several control buttons and an LCD display at the bottom. The NASA stamped Part Number on the right side is "SEG12100591-301" and the Serial Number is "1004" (1 of 3). A complete legal pad, the pen (3 of 3), interface cables (2 of 3), and a NASA property tag is all included in a pink plastic bag (slit open at top) with NASA/JSC "Cleaned for Service" (dated 2000) and USA/FCE form (dated 2002) stickers. Based on evidence, this was likely used in flight on a Shuttle mission. Possibly functional, not tested. Very fine.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
