Space Shuttle Enterprise (ALT) Flown American Flag on Crew-Signed Presentation Certificate, with a Large Color Photo Crew-Signed on the Mat. Four items.
    (1) A 5.75" x 4" cloth U.S. Flag mounted on an 11" x 14" printed certificate bearing the signatures of a NASA official and of the program pilots: "Fred Haise", "Gordon Fullerton", "Joe Engle", and "Richard Truly". Between June and October, 1977, these four astronauts alternating in crews of two, performed the first manned captive-active and free flight tests in the unpowered Enterprise orbiter. These tests took place at the Dryden Flight Research Center at Edwards Air Force Base and were a very important phase in the development of the final design of the Space Shuttle orbiter. This "Special Award - Approach and Landing Test Program" was presented to Andrew R. Patnesky: " recognition of your outstanding contributions to the achievements of the Approach and Landing Test Program..."
    (2) A beautiful 13.5" x 10.5" color photo, S-77-30160, of an Enterprise landing mounted on a 20" x 16" matboard. Inscribed at the top in a calligraphic hand: "To Pat & Bastiaan- Best Wishers from the Crews of the 'Enterprise'" and signed beneath by all four: "Fred Haise", "Gordon Fullerton", "Joe Engle", and "Richard Truly". Uneven toning in area at bottom.
    (3) A 10" x 8" color NASA photo, S-77-23095, picturing the four ALT pilots at a press conference.
    (4) A 10" x 8" B&W NASA glossy photo, S-77-22948, of the four pilots admiring the plane and shuttle models.
Generally excellent. From the personal collection of longtime NASA photojournalist Andrew "Pat" Patnesky.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
