DescriptionSpace Shuttle Discovery (STS-26) Unflown Robbins Silver Medallion, Serial Number 113, from the collection of astronaut Charles M. Duke, Jr. 35mm, with the mission dates engraved on the reverse, in original issue plastic box. This medallion, though not flown, was made to commemorate the September 29-October 3, 1988, flight of the Discovery, the first space shuttle mission following the Challenger disaster on January 28, 1986.
The design features the surnames of crew members John M. Lounge, David C. Hilmers, George D. Nelson, Frederick H. Hauck, and Richard O. Covey on both sides.
