    Space Shuttle Columbia (STS-1) Flown Brake Disk Segment on B. F. Goodrich Presentation Plaque. A 4" x 3.25" (overall) segment of black brake disk material that flew on the first Space Shuttle mission in 1981. It is mounted on a 12" x 9" x 0.75" wooden plaque with an embroidered mission insignia patch and two engraved plates, one with mission data, the other with following text: "BFGoodrich/ Space Shuttle Brake Disk Segment/ Flown on the NASA Shuttle Columbia/ During Mission/ STS-1/ April 12-14, 1981". Not common. Very fine with just minor wear.
