Space Shuttle Challenger (STS-41-B) Flown NASA "Medical Checklist" Book Directly from the Personal Collection of Mission Specialist Bruce McCandless II. A 6" x 8" x 1.5" thick cardstock book, three-hole punched and bound with binder rings. The mission insignia is pasted to the front cover and a "41-B" label is placed over the previous "11" (a change made shortly before the mission). This is an incomplete book that includes the covers and the following internal pages: Emergencies- 1-1/2 1/9-1/12; Laboratory Medicine 2-1/2; Drug Side Effects FS iii/iv, FS 1/2; Medical Kit Storage FS 2/1-2/8; and Medical DSO 3-1/2. Even though incomplete, the list of drugs and equipment stored onboard is complete and an interesting read. The first time we've offered this checklist from any mission. Very fine.
