Soviet Custom Photograph Album from Zond 5, 6, 7, & 8 and Salyut 3 & 5 Missions, Presented to Sports Commissar Ivan G. Borisenko by OKB Chief Designer Aleksei Bogomolov. (Moscow, 1979). A beautifully bound 12.5" x 10.25" book titled in gilt on the cover: "Фотографируют ЗОНДЫ И САЛЮТЫ" (Photographed by Zond and Salyut). The title page is also in gilt and gives the subject as (translated): "Cosmic Photos/ Earth and Moon/ with Automatic Stations Zond 5, 6, 7, 8/ and Orbital Stations Salyut 3, 5". There is a long inscription in script to Borisenko. The book contains twenty-three gorgeous quality laid-in glossy photos (ten B&W, thirteen color), all taken by one of the above-mentioned spacecraft. Most feature full page captions printed in Russian script. A rare item with association to two key Soviet space personnel. Very fine.
