The third and final manned Skylab mission set eight different World Aeronautic Records. Offered here is a pair of the original documents of certification, a matching set (in French and English) from the two international agencies.
Fédération Aéronautique Internationale: A 14" x 10.5" partly-printed certificate filled in by hand and signed by three officials. It states that Carr, Pogue, and Gibson of the United States set a world record in Skylab 3 for "Durée en orbite terrestre/ 84 jours 1 heure 15 minutes, 30,8 seconds/ Classe K-2".
National Aeronautic Association: A 12" x 15" partly-printed certificate filled in by hand and signed by two officials. It states that Carr, Pogue, and Gibson set a world record in Skylab 3 for "Class K Manned Spacecraft/ Duration with Earth Orbit/ 84 days, 1 hour, 15 minutes, 30.8 seconds".
Rarely offered. Both in fine or better condition.
Included with this lot is a signed Letter of Authenticity from Pogue.
