    Purdue University: Neil Armstrong's Certificate of Course Completion Directly From The Armstrong Family Collection™, Certified and Encapsulated by Collectibles Authentication Guaranty. A certificate from Purdue at Lafayette, Indiana made out to Neil Alden Armstrong stating that he was enrolled as a student from 9-10-47 to 2-4-49 and had "successfully completed the courses listed herewith." Signed by C. E. Sammons as Registrar. His college tuition was paid for under the Holloway Plan where he was committed to two years of study, followed by two years of flight training and one year of service in the U.S. Navy as an aviator, then completion of the final two years of their bachelor's degree, which of course he did. A one-of-a-kind item. Smoothed fold, otherwise excellent, sealed in a numbered archival sleeve. This lot will include a Statement of Provenance signed by Neil Armstrong's sons, Rick and Mark.
