    Photograph of NASA Space Shuttle Challenger Liftoff Directly From The Armstrong Family Collection™, Certified and Encapsulated by Collectibles Authentication Guaranty. A beautiful colored photograph, 16" x 20", of the Space Shuttle Challenger during liftoff. The Challenger completed nine missions from 1983 to 1985 before its tragic accident in 1986. On January 28, the craft encountered a structural failure 73 seconds into its ascent and exploded, killing all seven members of the crew: Dick Scobee, Michael J. Smith, Ellison S. Onizuka, Judith A. Resnik, Ronald E. McNair, Gregory Jarvis, and Christa McAuliffe. Excellent condition. Sealed in a numbered archival sleeve. This lot will include a Statement of Provenance signed by Neil Armstrong's sons, Rick and Mark.
