A real prize for a train enthusiast, what appears to be a complete train set that a teenage Neil Armstrong enjoyed setting up and running. Includes the following:
    Locomotive 224- A Prairie Type 2-6-2 locomotive of 10" in length;
    Tender 2466W Variation B, whistle version;
    Coal Dump Car 3559 Variation A, Type 2 Truck;
    Sunoco Single Dome Tanker Car #2555 Variation A with "Gas & Oils";
    Caboose 2457 Variation D with red body and black windows;
    Transformer R Variation A;
    Whistle Controller 167 Variation B, no suffix, no ejector pin markings;
    Unloading Bin 160 Variation B with multicolored specks;
    UTC Track Lockon 1936-1942 era;
    Whistle Part WS-125;
    Coal Bag 207;
    Curved Track 8 pieces;
    Straight Track 13 pieces; and
    RCS Controller Variation A with red buttons.
    Made in the U.S.A. What a great set for display! Somewhat soiled and well-used but should clean up nicely, very good overall. Not tested. The old wooden fruit crate that these items were found in will be included. CAG 1002087-024. This lot will include an encapsulated CAG Photo Certificate with a Statement of Provenance signed by Neil Armstrong's sons, Rick and Mark.
