    Description

Neil Armstrong's Handwritten Notes Regarding Spacesuit Technology, Page 2 of 3, Directly From The Armstrong Family Collection™, Certified and Encapsulated by Collectibles Authentication Guaranty. An 8.5" x 11" lined three-hole punched page removed from a spiral notebook of his personal NASA-related archives; this page has notes front and back in pencil reading, in small part: "The sensible heat removal is disregarded (small ΔT). The latent heat removal = enthalpy change... The Method has disadvantage of some assumptions and error sources... Feed water Consump. Method... Feedwater at end of EVA drained & weighed... [various equations]". Interesting and historical. See images online for details. See adjacent lots for further notes in this series. Very fine, sealed in a numbered archival holder. This lot will include a Statement of Provenance signed by Neil Armstrong's sons, Rick and Mark.

We had a wonderful time in New York during the October 2013 Historical Manuscripts auction that featured my mother’s papers collected during her tenure as Martin Luther King, Jr.’s secretary. In fact, the entire experience from beginning to end has been a pleasure.
