    Neil Armstrong Airport Dedication Memorabilia, October 1967, including Signature on Souvenir Folder, Directly from the Collection of Neil Armstrong's Niece Ellen. The airport at Wapakoneta had a name change on October 8, 1967, to the "Neil Armstrong Airport." Offered here is a letter, 8.5" x 11", from the Airport Authority announcing the big event sending a Guest badge (included). Also included is a 3" x 4" foldover souvenir booklet with a space on the back for autographs. Appropriately, it is signed in blue ballpoint: "Neil Armstrong/ 8 Oct, 1967". Rare items from a pre-Apollo celebration for the hometown hero. A signed Certificate of Authenticity will be included with this lot. Light toning, fine.
