NASA Vintage Apollo Command Module Prototype Engineering Model. An impressive approximately 1/20 scale engineering model. While sitting on the custom wooden base, the model the model is approx. 6.5" x 8.5" x 8.5. A very early representation of the CM, the model is adorned with various figures throughout (presumably used for different computations). Upon the top there are three removable components. Engraved on the bottom of the model is: "Equip. Sect./ Jim Arthur". A superb relic of the early days of the Apollo project. Some scratching and toning throughout. Overall very good.
