NASA's "Early Days" Collection of Photos. A fun grouping, nine items. (1) A 13.5" x 10.25" B&W photo of the Mercury Seven astronauts, all with cowboy hats and sheriff's badges, mounted and framed (no glass) to an overall 22.25" x 18.5". (2-3) A 14" x 11" sepia print of some cows grazing in a field, a very important field to space enthusiasts as it is the land where the Manned Spacecraft Center would be built. Patnesky told the story that it took a very long time to get the shot he wanted because the lead cow would never look his way. Also, a 10" x 8" color silk finish of a cropped version of the same photo with press caption on the verso. (4-7) Four 10" x 8" B&W glossies with 1962 dates of a windmill and sheds on the same piece of land mentioned above. (8) Another 1962 glossy picturing Dr. Robert Gilruth a congressional delegation. Three-hole punched. (9) A 1963 glossy of artist conceptions of the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo spacecraft. Three-hole punched and light damage at top. Generally excellent. From the personal collection of longtime NASA photojournalist Andrew "Pat" Patnesky.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
