DescriptionNASA Road 1 Vintage Street Sign, Circa Early 1970s. Here's an item that needs to be mounted over the door leading to your Space Collection room. A heavyweight metal sign of 24" x 6" with "NASA - 1" in white over a blue background, the same on both sides, with four screw holes for mounting. Originally Farm to Market Road 528 (FM-528), the portion from Interstate 45 to State Highway 146 was renamed NASA Road 1 when the Manned Spacecraft Center opened. This is the main route to NASA's Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center. This sign has been in a private collection since the early 1970s. It had been removed and replaced with a newer sign and a shrewd individual "rescued" it for his collection before its disposal. Quite dirty, which would clean up nicely, and a few spots of rust as would be expected from exposure to the weather, very good.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
