NASA: Neil Armstrong's Copy of a Memorandum "Results of the Eleventh AS-504 Flight Opportunities Program Meeting," December 5, 1966, Regarding the First Lunar Landing, Directly From The Armstrong Family Collection™, CAG Certified. One 8.5" x 11" three-hole punched sheet, with "CB/N. A. Armstrong" typed at top. This meeting was held on November 23, 1966, where the Apollo Spacecraft Project Office proposed the following requirements for the first lunar landing mission:
    (1) Plan for 3 days/month launch opportunities.
    (2) Plan for a minimum of 48 hours between launch opportunities.
    (3) Plan for a Pacific injection to meet lighting requirements.
    (4) Plan for 2 months lead time for a launch date and lunar landing site identification.
Just a few months before the proposed launch of AS-204, plans were being discussed for the first lunar landing, AS-504 (which ended up being Apollo 9) as the schedule was changed due to the tragic accident aboard AS-204. Great reference material for the Space historian. About fine. Sealed in numbered archival sleeves, CAG 1000119-003. This lot will include a Statement of Provenance signed by Neil Armstrong's sons, Rick and Mark.
