NASA Kennedy Space Center: Numbered "Remove Before Flight" Streamer with Attached Inventory Tags and 1973-Dated Parts Tag. A 24" x 3" orange streamer made of plastic (cloth might have produced lint particles that could contaminate the spacecraft). It may seem strange that a simple item like this would need to be inventoried but each streamer's location and use on any spacecraft had to be logged. Prior to flight all streamers had to be removed and checked off the log. Any streamer not checked off the log was considered left on the spacecraft and required an investigation. Therefore, each streamer was individually numbered and could be reused on the next spacecraft. This one has the Part Number "ST9 M405-24-2" on the separate Parts Tag form as well as on a cardboard tag wired to one end and a small one stapled to the other, all with various inspector stamps. Based on the March 1973 dates, this was likely used in the Skylab Program. Folds from storage, otherwise very fine.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
