NASA Gemini Program: Wall Clock from Blockhouse 19, Where all Ten Manned Gemini Missions Were Launched. A massive 42.5" x 22.5" x 6" panel containing three analog clock faces (left to right): 13" diameter, "Local Time"; 11" diameter, "Current Hold"; and 13" diameter, "Firing Time". At top center is a digital readout of Minutes and Seconds for "Time To Go" and just beneath a red lighted "Holding" display. At bottom right is a toggle switch for "Current Hold Circuit On/Off". There are several stickers on the right side including "KSC / NASA" and the Martin Company for a Time Display Panel. Just imagine the Space launches that were controlled by the personnel in the blockhouse while watching this clock display. An absolutely amazing piece, perfect for your home or office. Included with the lot is an 11" x 17" B&W glossy reprint of NASA image S65-61804 taken during the launch of Gemini 6 with this clock visible, high on the wall. Quite possibly could be cleaned up and made to function again. Parts loose inside, very good overall appearance.

We had a wonderful time in New York during the October 2013 Historical Manuscripts auction that featured my mother’s papers collected during her tenure as Martin Luther King, Jr.’s secretary. In fact, the entire experience from beginning to end has been a pleasure.
