Mercury Seven Signed "Project Mercury" First Day/ Mercury-Atlas 6 Launch Cover with Plate Block Affixed, Matted and Framed with Silver Spacesuit Color Photo. A philatelic cover hand cancelled at Cape Canaveral on February 20, 1962, the date of John Glenn's legendary orbital flight and also the issue date for this stamp. On the left side of the cover, all of America's first seven astronauts have neatly signed in various inks: (top to bottom): "Leroy G Cooper, Jr", "Walter M Schirra Jr", "J H Glenn Jr", "M. Scott Carpenter", "D K Slayton", "Alan B Shepard Jr", and "Gus Grissom". This amazing cover is professionally double matted and framed with a 7.25" x 9.25" photo of the whole group in spacesuits and helmets to an overall 12.5" x 19.5". Cover is lightly soiled with minor wear, overall excellent in appearance.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
