    Large Varied Collection of Interesting, Displayable, and Informative Collectibles From a Former Grumman and McDonnell Rocket Tech. Great assortment of items collected by one of the few individuals talented enough to help build and repair the rockets used to send America's adventurers into space. Includes hardware, badges, a signed photo, government placards, etc.
    Spacecraft hardware: (1) Mercury-Atlas 9 Faith 7: 1.25" x 1.25" flown metal spacer made of Rena-41 material. (2) Gemini 4: Three flown metal gaskets made from a very light metal. (3) Gemini 4: 4.75" x 3.25" flown oval gasket.
    NASA and McDonnell publications: McDonnell Airscoop Volume XXI- No.3, March 1962 and NASA ROUNDUP Vol.1, No.11, March 21, 1962. Two newsletter-like publications that were produced for employees of the McDonnell Air Craft Corporation and NASA. Condition fair.
    Assorted NASA stickers: Collection of eight stickers spanning missions from both Apollo and Skylab. Very fine.
    Wally Schirra signed color photo: An 8" x 10" silk finish photo of Schirra in his space suit. Signed in black ink: "Thanks Charles/ Wally Schirra." Good.
    Kennedy Space Center pin back badge: 4" x 2.5" badge with the following info: 3507, Test # 17B, with the handwritten name of mechanic "E. Thompson". Early NASA collectible. Very good.
    ATS Satellite badge: 2.5" x 3.75" laminated badge pertaining to the ATS satellite operation. The front contains a representation of the satellite, surrounded by the text "ATS-B/A, 14 Temporary". The reverse side contains the following warning language "U.S Government Property, issued for official use until completion of operation. Use or possession by an unauthorized person, counterfeiting or alteration is a violation of Section 499, Title 18, U.S. Code and will make the offender liable to penalty. This badge may be kept as a souvenir upon completion of operation. 'Charles L. Buckley Jr.', Security Officer." Fine.
    Gemini II vehicle permit placard: 11" x 6.5" paper parking permit for the Gemini II mission. Contains a few signatures and notes on the back, presumably from fellow technicians.
    Gemini Mission Fall-Back Crew 6 placard: 10.5" x 6" heavy-stock placard from the Gemini-era. Handwritten on the reverse is "MAC/ INSPECTION/0." Very good.
