It is postmarked Houston, Texas, April 16, 1972 (launch date), and bears a "United States in Space" 8¢ stamp (Scott #1434). The cachet features the mission insignia in bright colors. John Young has signed boldly in black felt tip on the front to the right of the insignia: "John Young". He has also signed on the verso beneath a typed: "Original Apollo 16 Insurance Cover/ Pre-launch signed on obverse/ from my personal collection/ [signed] John Young". Very desirable as certified. Excellent.
