A 20" x 16" silk finish photo on Kodak Endura paper, one of the most iconic photos of the modern era. Signed in bold silver felt tip: "Apollo 8, the first manned mission to the moon, entered lunar/ orbit on Christmas Eve, December 24 1968. Frank Borman rotated/ the module, causing the Earth to 'rise'/ James Arthur Lovell Jr./ Apollo 8 Command module pilot". Included with this lot are three 10" x 8" color photo of Lovell signing this very image. An amazing item. Excellent.
