Gemini 9A Flown Rendezvous Cue Cards and Plastic Reticle Signed by and from the Personal Collection of Mission Pilot Gene Cernan. An amazing lot consisting of: three printed cardstock cue cards with various handwritten notations, 4.25" x 4" in size, and all with strips of Velcro on each side; and a sheet of clear plastic, 10.5" x 3.75", marked with a crosshairs inside a circle, also with Velcro strips attached for mounting to the spacecraft. All four pieces are certified and signed: "Flown on Gemini IX Gene Cernan". One of the main objectives for this mission was to rendezvous and dock with an Agena Target Vehicle that was to be launched a few weeks before the Gemini liftoff. Unfortunately, the Atlas booster failed and the Agena failed to make orbit. Just days before the scheduled launch of Gemini 9, a substitute ATDA (Augmented Target Docking Adapter) was launched as the docking vehicle. Again, problems cropped up when its protective shroud failed to completely detach, so the docking was cancelled. The rendezvous did take place though and these four items were used to successfully accomplish that task. All in very fine condition.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
