    Gemini 8: Special One-Of-A-Kind Framed Presentation Including a Flown Gilt Fliteline Medallion MS63 NGC, a Launch Cover, and a Neil Armstrong Business Suit Pose NASA Color Photo, all Directly From The Armstrong Family Collection™ and CAG Certified. A handsome piece celebrating his first space mission with the following items:

    Gemini 8 Flown MS63 NGC Gold-Colored Fliteline Medallion. This 25mm medal was flown aboard Gemini 8 with Armstrong and Pilot Dave Scott. The mission performed the world's first orbital docking in space with an Agena Target Vehicle. The obverse of the medal shows the whole spectrum of objectives that were planned to be accomplished on Gemini 8. The text at the bottom is comprised of the zodiacal symbol for Gemini and the Roman numeral VIII. The two stars are Castor and Pollux, which are in the constellation of Gemini, and are refracted through a prism to provide the spectrum. The reverse has a struck "First to Dock in Space" and the engraved date of the flight, March 16, 1966. A beautiful Select Uncirculated example from the mission commander's own collection. Sealed in a numbered archival holder, CAG 1000013-006.

    Gemini 8 Launch Postal Cover. Sized 6.5" x 3.5" with Gemini 8 Orbit Cover cachet that includes images of Astronauts Dave Scott and Neil Armstrong. With a 5¢ "50-Star Flag" stamp (Scott #1208). Postmarked Cape Canaveral, FL, March 16, 1966. Excellent. Sealed in a numbered archival sleeve, CAG 1002337-023.

    Neil Armstrong Business Suit Pose 1964 NASA Color Photograph. An 8" x 10" litho print. Excellent. Sealed in a numbered archival sleeve, CAG 1000245-009.

    Professionally and archivally matted and framed to an overall 22" x 16.5", ready for your home or office wall. This lot will include a Statement of Provenance signed by Neil Armstrong's sons, Rick and Mark.
