GEMINI 5

Gemini 5 Press Reference Book Signed by Four Gemini Astronauts, Originally from the Personal Collection of Mission Commander Gordon Cooper. A fully-illustrated, McDonnell Aircraft-published book of 123 pages, 8.5" x 11", dated July 1, 1965, and including a number of pull-out charts. On the Contents page, it is signed: "Richard Gordon/ GT-XI"; "Gordon Cooper/ GT5" (1927-2004); "Wally Schirra/ GT-6" (1923-2007); and "Tom Stafford/ GT-6, 9". Additional Gemini astronaut autographs could certainly be added at shows and private signings. Very fine.

Included with this lot is a signed Letter of Authenticity on his personal letterhead from Gordon Cooper stating: "This Gemini Press Reference Book is from my personal collection. Even though it was designed for the press corps, I found it a great quick reference guide to have around before and after the my [sic] Gemini 5 flight. The illustrations and diagrams it contains helped many technical discussions to be completed in a timely manner."

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
