    Description

Gemini 4: Original 16mm Color Film Print from the Personal Collection of Ed White II, with His Handwritten Notations. A 7" diameter reel of 16mm color film footage in a 9" can with a "NASA - Manned Spacecraft Center" label containing the following information: Job Order No. "5606"/ Date "6-4-65"/ Roll No. "III"/ Engineer "K. Glover"/ Footage "455''"/ Type of Film "Color Print"/ Process "Print- 4x1"/ Subject "GT-4 Onboard/ General Purpose". This has not been unreeled or viewed by us but additional notes on the label in Ed White II's handwriting read: "1 Clouds- Pretty Sunset- Clouds into Sun- Some poor interior. Jim Asleep. Earth & Sky. Cut Out Alot of Blank" The white leader has handwritten notes. Ed White II embraced every opportunity to speak in public about the U.S. Space program and the Gemini 4 mission. It seems likely that he might have used this film during his presentations. This is the last of these reels that will be offered. Apparently excellent.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
