    Description

    Gemini 4 Flown Silver Fliteline Medallion Originally from the Personal Collection of Mission Pilot Edward White II, with a Signed Letter of Authenticity from Edward White III. This 25mm sterling silver medal flew on America's second two-man space mission, June 3-7, 1965, along with Jim McDivitt and Ed White II. The obverse features the crew's proposed mission insignia of an American eagle above their space capsule floating with the crew's full names above and below. The reverse has a struck riband with "GT-4" below and engraved mission dates along with the sterling hallmark. Original case included. Rarely offered. Excellent.

    Included with this lot is an LOA dated 1999 from Ed White III on his personal letterhead reading, in part: "...Gemini 4 medallions were carried on that flight by my father."
