Ex. Richard Gordon
Gemini 11 Flown Silver Fliteline Medallion Originally
from the Personal Collection of Command Pilot Richard Gordon, with
His Signed Certificate of Authenticity. This 21mm x 29mm
shield-shaped sterling silver medal was flown aboard Gemini 11 with
crewmembers Pete Conrad and Richard Gordon between September 12 and
15, 1966. The design includes the Roman numeral "XI," the Agena
target vehicle, the orbital apogee path, and a spacewalking
astronaut. On the reverse, above the sterling hallmark, is
vertically engraved the mission and its dates. Included with this
lot is a signed COA by Gordon, with a universal photo of the
medallion, stating this came from his personal collection. Original
Fliteline case included. Excellent.
