DescriptionGemini 10 Flown Silver-Colored Fliteline Medallion Originally from the Personal Collection of Astronaut Jack Swigert, with LOA. This 25mm medal was flown aboard Gemini 10, July 18-21, 1966, with crewmembers Michael Collins and John Young. The obverse depicts the mission insignia, a large Roman numeral "X" with both Gemini spacecraft and Agena target vehicle orbiting it and two stars, with the crew surnames above and below. The reverse has the flight name and dates engraved in block letters. The obverse is in bright and excellent condition. The reverse has residue from the deteriorating foam pad.
Included with this lot is a Letter of Authenticity signed by Jack Swigert's sister, Virginia Swigert, certifying "that this Gemini 10 Fliteline Medallion Flown was personally owned by Jack Swigert" and that it comes directly from his estate.
