    Early Apollo (1962-1964) Guidance & Navigation Training Courses from M.I.T. and AC Spark Plug/ NASA Originally from the Personal Collection of Astronaut Gordon Cooper. An absolutely fascinating collection of course material collected in one large binder. These were from classes Cooper took in training for a potential future Apollo mission. A detailed listing follows.

    Section I- Functional View of the Apollo G & N Systems, November 1962, twenty-seven pages.
    Section II- Gyro Principles, December 1962, thirty-two pages.
    Section III- Stabilization, December 1962, nineteen pages.
    (Section IV)- Powered Flight Guidance, January 1963, twenty pages (inserted later).
    Section V- Midcourse Navigation and Guidance, February 1963, eighteen pages.
    Section VI- Re-Entry Guidance, March 1963, thirteen pages.
    Section VII- Optics, February 1963, twenty-seven pages.
    Gyro Fundamentals, 61-18A, from AC Spark Plug Division of General Motors, May 22, 1963 revision, approximately ninety pages.
    Apollo Guidance and Navigation System (C/M System Block I) from AC Spark Plug Division of General Motors, May 1, 1964, thirty-three pages.
    Apollo Guidance and Navigation Equipment Familiarization Manual C/M System, ND-1021037, prepared for NASA by AC Spark Plug Division of General Motors, March 1, 1964, approximately 250 pages.
    Many of the pages are printed single-side and there are numerous pull-out charts and diagrams. A rare and desirable group of early publications used to prepare the astronauts for their future flights. Fine.
