Buzz Aldrin Group of Crystal Awards and Presentations (Three), Originally from His Personal Collection. As follows, all very fine or better (exceptions noted). All related to medical charities, would look great in a doctor's lobby.
National Osteoporosis Foundation: A 4.5" x 10.5" x 2.25" Tiffany & Co. creation, the "Ethel LeFrak Award" given at the Silhouette Ball, May 23, 2006. Every year this award is "given to an individual whose stature and high level of accomplishment bring national attention to the issue of osteoporosis and whose efforts help improve the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of the disease." Two tiny chips at both front lower corners, otherwise excellent.
Buoniconti Fund: A 7.5" x 16.75" x 3.5" crystal display, signed by artist Todd McClellan, featuring an engraved spinal column, awarded to "Buzz Aldrin", no year given. This was given to Aldrin for his steady support for this group, part of the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis. Named after NFL HOFer Nick Buoniconti's son Marc who sustained a spinal cord injury during a college football game.
Hope For Heats: A 5.5" diameter x 10.25" tall sculpture, the "Inspiration Award" given in 2010 by the "Cardiovascular Research Foundation of Southern California" to Aldrin "For his courage, vision, and honor".

A Certificate of Authenticity will accompany this lot.
