    Boy Scouts: Two Programs for 1970 The Silver Buffalo Award Ceremony, Directly From The Armstrong Family Collection™, CAG Certified. The first, 5.5"x 10.75", is the "Citations" program, which includes photographs and biographies for each awardee. The second, 4" x 10.75", provides a list of each winner of the Silver Buffalo Award, dating back to 1926. The Silver Buffalo Award for distinguished service to boyhood is awarded by the Boy Scouts of America each year to individuals who provide noteworthy service to the nation or world. Neil Armstrong was one of eight men awarded the Silver Buffalo in 1970, for being the first man to walk on the moon. Awarded to Armstrong on May 22, 1970, at the 60th Annual Meeting of the National Council in Denver, Colorado. This is scouting's highest-level national award for volunteers. CAG 1003305-003 and 1003305-002. This lot will include a Statement of Provenance signed by Neil Armstrong's sons, Rick and Mark.
