Signed by two highly-decorated Soviet cosmonauts.

Apollo-Soyuz Test Project: Limited Edition Facsimiles of Tsiolkovsky Publications Flown on the Mission. A four-panel folder from 1977 with an outer slipcase containing three soft-cover booklets, ranging in size from 5" x 7" to 7" x 10" in size, as follows: "Investigation of World Spaces by Reactive Vehicles" (1914); "Cosmic Rocket Trains" (1929); and "The Aims of Astronautics" (1929). Each publication is in a separate folder with Russian and English explanatory text. The front cover of the outer folio has been inscribed and signed in Russian: "(To) Nykolai Nikoleavich Rodionoff with deep respect from Cosmonauts. 9 October 1978. Valeri Kubasov, Pyotr Klimuk." Kubasov flew on three missions: Soyuz 6 and Soyuz 19 (Apollo-Soyuz) as flight engineer, and Soyuz 36 as commander. Klimuk also flew three missions: Soyuz 13, Soyuz 18, and Soyuz 30, all as commander. Publication information in English as found on the outer folder: "The crews of the first-ever international, manned space flight, the Apollo Soyuz Test Project, took with them three works by the eminent Soviet scientist K. E. Tsiolkovsky as a token of respect for the author, and autographed them during the flight. 'Mashinostroeniye' Publishers is offering facsimile editions of these 'space travelers' to mark the 60th anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution and 20 years of the space age." Please note: these publications are not vintage, neither are they signed or flown; they are exact duplicates of those that did. Scarce. Outer slipcase in fair condition, contents fine.
