Description

Apollo-Soyuz Test Project Flown EPS/ECS Aborts Cue Card Originally from the Personal Collection of Mission Docking Module Pilot Deke Slayton. An odd-shaped heavyweight card with Velcro on verso, 5.75" x 4" overall, dated "6/27/75". This was an important item listing procedures as to what to do if problems with the electrical power and environmental control systems were noted. There is information printed on both sides. The Apollo-Soyuz Test Project, July 15-24, 1975, was the last of the Apollo series and Slayton's only space mission. Excellent condition.

Included with this lot is a Letter of Certification signed by Bobbie Slayton (Mrs. Deke Slayton) stating: "This checklist was flown on the Apollo Soyuz Mission and was used by Command Module Pilot Donald K. 'Deke' Slayton. It has been on loan for exhibition at the Astronaut Hall of Fame in Titusville, Florida, and the Air and Space Museum in Huntsville, Alabama."

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
