Apollo Mission Evaluations: Collection of Twelve NASA / Manned Spacecraft Center Security Badges Issued to Donald T. Hamilton. Hamilton was heavily involved with processing the Apollo capsules upon their return to Houston. A rare group of laminated 3.5" x 2.5" hole-punched badges for various mission evaluations taking place on the third floor of Building 45 at Houston's MSC. The collection is complete from Apollo 8 through 17 with an additional badge marked only "A" and one for the Apollo/Soyuz Test Project. Note that the Apollo 11 badge has a special "First Manned Lunar Landing" graphic while the others are plain. Included is a 2.5" x 3.75" NASA / MSC laminate for Apollo mission 201, the first unmanned test flight of an entire production Block 1 CSM and the Saturn IB. The laminate on Apollo badges 8-11 has started peeling and those badges are toned; the others are excellent. From the family collection of the late Donald T. Hamilton, a NASA engineer of 40+ years' service.

We had a wonderful time in New York during the October 2013 Historical Manuscripts auction that featured my mother’s papers collected during her tenure as Martin Luther King, Jr.’s secretary. In fact, the entire experience from beginning to end has been a pleasure.
