    Description

Apollo-Era NASA Toxic Fuel Handler's Coveralls. Offered here is an exceedingly uncommon item with the original NASA tagging- an obviously well-used set of butyl-rubber coveralls with helmet (less the removable gloves and boots) as worn by those who transferred the dangerously volatile and corrosive propellant fuel to and from rockets at the Kennedy Space Center. The printed tag gives the following information: Contract Number "NAS10-7316", Size "Med Reg", Serial Number "N2S726", NASA Part Number "ML66-102-15", Specification "KSC Spec-Z-0012", Manufacture Date "3/0/70", and Manufacturer "Arrowhead Products U.S." Handwritten beneath is "TAG 612823". The helmet has the large numbers "519" on both sides. It's fascinating to speculate that the technician who wore this suit might have helped fuel a Saturn V rocket before it launched an Apollo mission to the moon. Good condition overall; the rubber has started to fragment just a bit.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
