Description

Apollo 9 Rusty Schweickart EVA Large Color Photo Signed by Walt Cunningham and Originally from His Personal Collection. A 15.5" x 19.5" photo on heavy and stiff stock of Schweickart outside the Lunar Module Spider; he is using a Hasselblad SWC to take a photo of Dave Scott who is also photographing him at the time. It is signed at lower left in silver ink: "Apollo 9 - Rusty On/ The Front Porch/ Walt Cunningham/ Apollo 7". Apollo 9 was the first manned flight of the lunar module and the first use of the PLSS, all in preparation for the Apollo 11 moon landing. The addition of Schweickart or the other crewmembers could possibly be obtained at shows or private signings if so desired. Full caption on verso. Part of a group of photos presented to Cunningham personally by Victor Hasselblad in 1972 during a special ceremony in Stockholm. Tiny holes at top corners for hanging, a part of the thin plastic coating is torn affecting nothing. Overall excellent.
