DescriptionApollo 9 Flown Interim Utility Stowage Strap Originally from the Personal Collection of Mission Commander Jim McDivitt, with Signed LOA. A 10.5" x 0.75" brown cloth strap with a sewn-on tag with the printed Part Number "SEB33100015-301" and a handwritten Serial Number "1010". Two pieces of Velcro are sewn on, one on each side, and there are four metal snaps. This was used to secure various pieces of equipment inside the lunar module. Excellent condition. From the Steven R. Belasco Collection of Space Memorabilia.
Included with this lot is a signed letter of authenticity on his personal letterhead, stating: "I hereby certify that this utility stowage strap flew on Apollo 8 from March 3-13, 1969. It is from my personal collection." Also included is a COA from RR Auction.
